About The SottoPelle® Therapy Method
Founded in 2002 by Dr. Gino Tutera, SottoPelle® Therapy is a revolutionary method of bio-identical hormone replacement therapy. Used to treat hormonal imbalance in both women and men, bio-identical hormones are natural, plant-based substances that are 100 percent identical to those created by the human body.
All SottoPelle® Trained Physicians work with the expert Gino Tutera, M.D. F.A.C.O.G., a pioneer in his field who was working with hormone pellets long before all the media brought attention to bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT). Unlike synthetics, these pellets are derived from natural plant-based substances and hand-formulated to ensure superior quality and efficacy.
The SottoPelle® Therapy Method is based on prescribing the right amount of hormone (biologically identical), in the correct amounts (based on proper testing and accurate analysis of the results), using the right delivery system (pellets).
Using SottoPelle®, patients are given individualized hormone dosages based on their bodies' unique chemistries – not a generic prescription. The pellets deliver a steady stream of hormones, 24-hours a day and 7-days a week, resulting in hormonal balance that cannot be achieved through the usage of synthetic products such as pills, creams and injections.
Developed by Dr. Tutera, SottoPelle® Therapy method employs a proprietary dosing formula that utilizes blood work criteria, demographic information and personal medical history among other patient-specific traits, to accurately dose the amount of pellet hormones needed for each patient.
Unlike synthetics, these pellets are tested monthly in labs to maintain sterility, purity and stability of dispensed and distributed Compounded Sterile Preparations (CSPs). No horse urine or fillers are used in production; only pure, natural, biologically identical hormones.
